Leon Schurgers leaves VitaK On January 1 st, 2011 Dr. Leon Schurgers, former vice-president of VitaK has left the company to continue his scientific career elsewhere in the University of Maastricht. His tasks will be taken over with immediate effect by Dr. Elke Theuwissen, who has been a senior staff member of VitaK during the last 3 years. Elke received her PhD degree in human nutrition and has a broad experience in regulatory affairs. During the last years she has been supervising VitaK’s clinical trials on effects of increased vitamin K intake on circulating biochemical markers. |
